For people whose lives don’t run at night
We’re told dating happens at night.
That most people work 9–5, grab a drink after, and meet someone at a bar. That’s a myth. Many people work overnight.
Many parents are needed at night.
Many people prefer calmer, more intentional settings. If your time to connect is during the day,
this event is for you.

What This Is
A structured, daytime speed dating event designed for real conversation.Introductions are structured and paced, giving everyone the same space to be heard.Matching is private and mutual.Food and drinks are available through the venue but are optionalThe focus is conversation, not consumption. This is for people who want clarity, presence, and a low-pressure way to meet someone new. What This Isn’t
This isn’t a mixer, a bar night, or a free-for-all.There’s no mingling chaos, no loud room, and no expectation to perform. You’re not required to impress anyone, just to show up, be respectful, and see who you connect with.

You arrive, check in, and take part in a series of short, structured conversations.Afterward, you privately indicate interest. Matching is mutual — only people who select each other show up in your match results.Once the structured portion ends, the facilitated portion of the event concludes. Staying for food or a drink afterward is optional and entirely up to you. Match results are delivered privately within 48 hours after the event.
Heterosexual Matching
Each person who identifies as male for the event will meet each person who identifies as female for the event. Any ticket purchaser who does not identify as male or female is encouraged to attend one of our LGBTQIA-inclusive events, which are structured differently to support a wider range of identities and connection preferences.
LGBTQIA & Inclusive Matching
Our LGBTQIA-inclusive events are designed to offer equitable, respectful opportunities for connection across a range of identities and orientations. During these events, you’ll participate in a series of short, structured conversations with others in the room, and afterward you’ll privately indicate who you’d like to be matched with. Matches are only shared when interest is mutual, and no one is pressured into pairing on site. While the format is designed to create broad and fair overlap across the room, not every attendee will necessarily meet every other attendee during the structured rounds.Because attraction and identity are personal and complex, the intake is intentionally simple and focuses on creating connection opportunities rather than guaranteeing specific outcomes. If, before an event, it appears that there may not be sufficient representation based on the connection preferences selected during registration, the host may reach out to offer a refund.
The Enchanted Broomstick is a local company building toward a long-term goal: creating a year-round indoor play space for Salem families.Along the way, we’re developing small, intentional projects that support that work — thoughtfully, transparently, and without pressure. These daytime dating events are one of them. They’re designed to stand on their own as a well-run, respectful experience, while also contributing to something larger being built here in the community.
